i am getting a AR-620T next week and was wondering on some stocking options. its 130 liters so i dont know whether to have a load of livebearers in there with maybee a discus and a plec or just a couple of big angel fish. what would you put in it if you had a spare 130 liters hanging around your house

arnt tiger barbs a bit nippy with the others or dont they bother in a tank this size. ive never had one this big before the biggest ive had is 60 liters so i dont know what to expect lol

The tank is way too small for a Discus. Plus they should be in groups.
It maybe OK for plecos though, depending on the species. Common Plecos and Leopard Sailfins (also known as Gibbiceps Plecos) are the most common species sold and grow way to big so avoid those. The best pleco would be a Bristlenose Pleco.
Angelfish should be OK too. I'd not get more than 3 in that tank. When you say you want 'big' angelfish, I hope you don't mean Altum Angels, they will outgrow your tank. Common/Scalare Angelfish are the best species to get.

The thing you need to bare in mind is that 620T tanks are quite squat for their volume, they are basically two typical 2-foot long tanks stacked on top of each other. Therefore, tankmates should be chosen with care i.e. nothing that likes a lot of space to use fast turns of speed.

In mine I currently have...
2 African Butterfly Fish (with floating Canadian Pond Weed to create boundaries and security)
4 Upside Down Catfish (managed to get a new one today, still aiming for a 6+ group ASAP, as they are social like cory catfish)
1 Hypoptopoma sp.2 catfish
1 Phyllonemus or Lophiobagrus catfish from Lake Tanganyika
9 Golden Eel Loaches (which I barely see anymore, unless I go through to the lounge at silly times in the middle of the night)
~12+ Rabbit Snails (various species, breeding like rabbits!)

wow altot of catfish lol. no i meant just the normal angels. how many liters of water do you need to keep discus in. might just go with livebearers maybee some rarer ones like halfbeaks too. big shoul of neon tetras maybee a Red tail black shark or a silver shark. a silver dollar or 2. and rainbowfish. that sound ok. o and a bristel nose.
any different suggestions. o the filter it comes with is an external pond filter what sits under the cabinet and i think it has a UV light in it.
