Getting A New Tank

Hi there, i'm getting a new tank next week and just wondering if i have to cycle the new tank or just use the old tank water?...just to let you know that i will have to buy a new filter/pump so there will not be any bacterial growth but hopefully my old tank water will help and i can also throw in the old cartridge filters if that helps....Cheers for the help!

It's the old filters/filter sponges that really help; also, a bit of old substrate would add a bit extra. Tank water does very little, as very few bacteria live there.
