Geo Identification...?

To cut a long story short this guy was delivered to a friend of mine with a few Malawis from a online retailer. He ordered the Malawis but did not order the Geo.

So i have taken it off his hands and it is currently residing in my tank. Could anybody identify which species it is? Geos are really not my strong point but i was thinking it was a Steindachneri and possibly a Female?

Ok Thanks. It's around 2 inches, do you feel it is a male or female?

Looks like a female to me , no sign of the beginnings of a hump or redness on the forehead.

Yeah I thought so, there is some red colouration but it is very faint, not much sign of a hump I don't think and I cannot see the red spots near the mouth, what size do they usually show the different signs of each sex? It's a shame because if it was a male I think I would of been able to keep him.

Its a female. How come you can't keep it? If you're ever down nottinghamshire way then I could take it off you. It can join my group.

Thanks matey. I've managed to find these stocked locally now so I exchanged the lone female for a male.
