i have a young sexed pair of GBR but the male seems a little aggressive for my likeing.
this is the 1st time i've kept rams so if this is completely normal i appologise in advance

the male is quite a bit larger than the female and tends to chase her around alot, no damage has been done and they both appear healthy, i just dont want the female getting stressed out by the chasing.

sometimes they are fine and you cannot seperate them

hopfully its just me worrying about nothing

you can kind of see the size difference in this picture

Just make sure that there are plenty of hiding places for the female. She just may not be quite ready to spawn, which is frustrating to your randy male. Just give her some time.
If they are OK together some times, I would think there is a good chance that you have a male and a female. If you had two males, the dominant one would likely not tolerate the other one near him at all.
