ive just got in from work and some of my fish are gasping at the surface im in the middle of treating ich i put the final dose in this morning. water tests seem fine any opinions appreciated :/

Are you running an airsone for extra aeration as meds take the 02 out of the water, and have you overdosed by any chance.

i put the same dose in as i did on monday.the fish are all hanging round the filter is this relevant?

Yes are you running an airstone they can't breath with the med that's why you add an airstone, if you haven't one you will have to dilute the med down with a water change now quckily.

ok thx how big of a change?
the instuctions on the treatment are s*** i cant believe this

How many gallons is the tank, say 30%.

100g doing the change now :( should i move who i can to my smaller tank??are they gonna die?

No don't move them leave them where they are they are stressed enough, do the water change wan't to fetch them down from the surface.

No i don't mind at all, i will be here for you.

Good which fish are gasping as some fish can't tolerate full strength whitespot meds.

im having to add cold water to refil it usually i let it warm up is this ok?
the temperature is gonna drop a lot with such a big water change

It should be ok at long as there no more than 2 degree difference.

the instuctions said nothing about a 2nd filtration device wtf is that all about
the tank is downstairs and pc is up so im up and down like a yoyo ffs
