holy cow

they are fantastic! such beautiful features, wow!

i think im gonna keep snakeheads now, i want to!!!

amazing pictures!

Beatiful pics and yes the Pulchra are stunning, how big are they?

Your Gachua look great as well, they have bigger loking scales than my Orientalis but other than that and pelvic fin they are identical

Bagu thats what a Orientalis looks like minus pelvic fin!!

Nice pics, im assuming you have blue night lights on which is why the Pulchra is a weird purple/blue colour

Hi m8, No blue lights.
Just 1 "tropical red" 30watt and 1 "pure natural(white) 30watt

I do however have a black background with blue speckles on it.
The pulchras are very blue and they were as juvis when I first got them. This caused a bit of confusion when IDing the fish, as the seller was selling them as blue moonshine snakeheads. I have kept Pulchra before that were very grey.
But With all my snakeheads i keep kettapang(spelling?) leaves in the tanks. This seems to bring out blue in all the fish I keep with these leaves.

And to simonas, the Pulchra are about 5-6" at the moment.
The Gachua are a little bigger. I may need to get rid of some of the gachua soon as I have just found out from the person I got them from he has some of them at 12" in his tank!
(anyone in Japan who wants some let me know)

There is no way I have any tanks space left for that. The only tank space I have left is with some HUGE dats and oscars that would destroy them.

I didn;t realise Gachua got that big!! so they are bigger than Orientalis then?

The thing with Gachua is there is so many new species of SH being found that so many get tagged "Gachua".
The fact that there are "Gachua" from all regions shows this (thai, india, afghan etc), some are true dwarfs that stay around the 7-8" mark whereas some get pretty ### big.
