There's many towns in PA with funny names. I live near Intercourse, there's also Bird in Hand, Pillow, Fountain. And other weird ones like that.

Yeah, the list of strange or funny PA town names just goes on and on

Intercourse, Paradise, Bird-In-Hand, Blue Ball (ouch) , Bushkill, Eighty Four, Emporium, Harmony, Hershey (yup, as in the chocolate) , Jim Thorpe (after the athlete), Laughlintown (no frowns here) , Mars, Moon, Palm, Ronks, Slippery Rock (must have algae on it like my tank) , etc.

Hershey is actually where the chocolate came from, the factory is there, and the park too. The chocolate was named after the family I believe, then the town after the chocolate. The town actually has street lights that look like chocolate kisses.

LOL, yup. And Hershey Park (amusement park) is there and you can take a tour of how they make chocolate at Chocolate World, and buy lots of Hershey chocolate when you're done. Of course you can buy lots of chocolate in the park too, LOL. Best place to go for chocoholics!

Here are a couple of my favorite signs. I was looking in my folders & unfortunately I can't find it. There was a picture of a billboard with bunches of flowers that said "Nothing says I'm sorry about the crabs better than flowers."

I live pretty close to Hershey, and I used to live in Bangor, which we still get funny jokes about. And there's a town called Fear Not out here.

There's one in Wisconson called Dresser. I've been there a couple times, and it has a population of what.....40 people?
