Fungus on Betta?

Hi guys this is my first post.

I was wondering if I could get some help identifying if this is fungus or just natural white patch on my betta's head. I really don't know what to think of it. He is acting normal; eating fine and building a bubble nest etc.

Hi, it looks like scale loss to me from the pics, does it look raised or fluffy side on? does he have anything in his tank that he could scrape the top of his head on? e.g low caves hidey holes perhaps? he's lovely btw

He is lovely isn't he !
I'll keep an eye on him to see if he's scratching his head against anything although I can't think of anything that could cause this in his tank.
It's not raised or fluffy from the side, I'll add a side on view too.
