I just heard on the news about an underwater live cam webcast
that is off the Cornish coast
so far the only thing available is the BBC news report
but I'll be keeping an eye out for when it goes active on the net.

click on Fish-cam launched to save wildlife about halfway down the page (under the picture of a mosque) :good:

yeah i saw that earlier today but it isnt working yet :(

I can't find the cameras either, so I have emailed the RSPB and the BBC to see if they can provide any urls

here is the email reply from the RSPB

Hi, thank you for your enquiry about the underwater cameras. Unfortunately, the cameras are not a long-term fixture. We only had sufficient budget to hire them for a day. Our purpose was to show in 'real time' the wonders of the marine environment just off shore of the British coastline and use this spectacle to illustrate the need for greater marine protection. The feeds from the cameras were run over national and international news networks on the day and for a few days after.

such a shame they weren't a permanent fixture as alluded to in the news article
