Fry!

I only managed to count the babies as I had to transfer them to another tank - nightmare with a heater blowing up the day after I took dad out. So, rather than risking their chances with cold water which none of them would've survived I put them back with dad who was still showing an interest. They're still swimming about and eating fine while dad is still playing his role and trying to put them into his new nest lol. Going to wait till they're a bit bigger to transfer them again rather than risking it all over again. I know some of them probably didn't survive it, but that was their best chance in my eyes.

Some may have survived. Once, I had to go on vacation the day a platy gave birth, and one of the baby's was in the main tank. Long story short, when I got back, my gourami, female platy, and the separated babies died, but the one in the tank lived!
