Fry! Within Minuits Of Getting Her Home

Ok so literally minuits after getting my mums new sunset plattie home she begins to drop her fry, i hadn't picked her out of the tank and hadn't checked all my bags of fish i'd brought home from work apart from the ones i'd bagged myself so i had no idea she was even pregnant. She's now in a makeshift fry net in the 35litre, i don't want the fry so i might ask my boss if he'll take them when i go in tomoro, i'm a first time fish mummy but i wasn't even wanting to be Livebearers.
On another note my 20gal is now pretty much finnished stockwise with maybe a small shoal of something being added once the dwarf cichlids have grown in a bit. Brought 16fishies home today in exchange for my weekends pay,but these tanks need finishing, they've been sat empty for too long

Just lucky there Forestpisces. I brought home a bag of a pair of Xenoophorus captivus - jesus maria that I bought at a club auction and turned loose all 10 fish in the bag into their new tank. I think the adults were snacking on the way home, although a goodeid fry drop is often quite small like that.

My mum was fascinated, i know better though, i do not want to be over run with plattie fry, she's the only plattie i own and she goes in my mums tank (which i do the maintinance for) along with 3 guppies and 5 phoenix rasboras plus 2 dwarf frogs it was only when i noticed a guppy with a fry poking out of his mouth that i though "oh no she'll want to keep them all"

LOL hon, that is typical! Hope all the fish are doing well otherwise though, sure the manager wont mind taking free fish

I am a first time mum too, found 3 random fry trying to grow at the mo (and deciding if lamp eyes or white cloud minnow) and now my cories which we have only had since last night have laid eggs. These fish eh?
