Fry Growth Rate

I have bolivian ram fry and also a load of guppys. The guppys are a few weeks younger than the rams, yet seem to be growing at an incredible rate compared to them! They are all in the same tank just now.

Do some species grow faster than others?

What food it best to encourage fast growth?

Something high in protein will work well, daily water changes also help. Growth rates differ massively in my experience.

feed them plenty of live foods/
i feed all my fish on brine shrimp. micro worms. grindall worms. wite worms. earth worms. water fleas daphnia)
mosquito larvae.blood worms and fruit flys.i have most of these foods all year round. when i colect the daphnia
throughout the Winter months they die back a bit but there are all ways plenty cyclops Another good food for the fish
