Frozen snail food

I heard that as well as cucumber and lettuce, apple snails can eat other veg, someone told me you can blend up varius veg in a blender and store it in ice cube tray in the freezer. Then just pop a cube in when you want. Is this a good idea?

I would worry that it would melt to quickly and polute your tank?

How many snails are you feeding?

With lots (10+) snails, that would be fine. I feed fish as normal and just put a green lettuce leaf in every few days, and I have roughly 75 snails of varying age. Keep an eye on the left overs, obviously, the 'all they can eat in three minutes' does not count with snails. If any food is still there after an hour, you are feeding too much.

I'm feeding 2 adult snails, but also my other fish like veg as well
