Sorry not sure if this is the right setcion to put this in but i have 6 wee tropical fish, think they are tetras of some sort that need a new home asap. ATM they are in a tiny emergency tank and need moved. They have really started chasing my other fosh and nipping the fins so they have to be rehomed

If anyone can take them please pm me asap

x murder x, do you have means of picking them up?

and if they are fin nippers they are going to cause havoc in your 60 litre with the live bearers and the betta female.

thats why i asked for a picture mate and i can try to pick it up or pay for postage

are they going in your smaller tank? i hope so cause if theyre going in the big one there dead meat! and im sure the inhabitants you already have in your tank are live bearers and a female betta, live bearers have longer fins than most other fish, and theyll be ripped to shreds if these tetras are heavy fin nippers, do you know what species the tetras are? they could outgrow you tank, you could have wrong water conditions etc

I have just pm'd the OP, i cannot post the fish. I am just a VERY novice fishkeeper and wouldnt even know where to begin. I just wanted someone local to be able to pic them up or i could drop them off.

I have just looked up pic on internet,, i think one is a rosy barb and the others look like serpae tetras

well your best bet would be to see if your LFS will take the. as x murder x has live bearers and a fin nipping gish will cause havoc in his tank, which isnt good

x murder x will just take any fish, no offence to him but he doesnt relly researdch any fish before he gets given them or buys them.

try the LFS and if thats no good post on other forums, you may get a better response in buy, sell and swap
