Well today was a very interesting day. First I changed the gravel in my tank to sand. It took a couple hours but was worth it because now it looks great!
Now my neighbor that I've known for the pass year apparently is into fish and has endlers! I never knew and now they have to move and said I could have them. Now I have a sanded tank and endlers, very good day! :yahoo:

Well done Neptune. I am a registered wild type endler breeder but don't get too excited.True endlers seem to be not much in demand right now.

I wasn't planing on breeding them. Tropical fish is not a very common hobby where I live. But they look great in my tank!

You don't need to try to breed endlers at all NN. The hard part is passing them along when the tank becomes too darned crowded. I have been keeping a nice adult male betta with mine but he is a miserable failure at fry control.

I keep a betta with mine too, but he is just to slow to catch the fry that came with them. Neon tetras are a bit better. :-(
