Found 3 Dead Shrimp In Filter

Decided to clean tank yesterday and when I took the filters out noticed 3 dead shrimp

How do I stop the rest of my shrimp from entering the filter?

You could always cut off the end of a pair of tights and put that over it?
I've lost most of my shrimp to my filter, too

I cut up an old aquarium net that was for catching brine shrimp. The holes are small enough so that the shrimplets can't get through but large enough so that filter intake getting clogged up doesn't become an issue that quickly.

Are you sure they're dead shrimp and not shredded exoskeletons?

Good point! If they were dead shrimp they would look solid and have some pink colour possibly. Exoskeletons are totally clear and have nothing inside them.

They looked like they were dead. Looked like prawns.

I am thinking of getting some more but not sure.
