I currently have 11 zebra danio, 6 mollies and 6 amano shrimp in my 240l tank. I am going to purchase 6 albino cory cats (tomorrow hopefully). After that i was going to go for some tetra's or raspbora's, I now fancy something a bit bigger, a centre piece fish (or pair) . not sure what to go for. I am very new to the hobby so don't really want anything too expensive or difficult.

any ideas or help would be appreciated. thankyou.

You can fit a both another school and a centerpiece in a tank that big.
People are recommending Bolivian Rams as a relatively cheap, easy to keep centerpiece, although they are a bit drab IMHO.

Thanks for the reply, had a look at the rams and not totally hooked but will look when I go to the LFS later today. :good:

I have read quite a bit about the rainbow cichlid and really like the look of these. Can any one give me advice on these?

are they compatible with my current set up?
how many would I need to keep?

Thankyou.
