it says to fill it up twice a day... but could i leave it running at an extremely low level constantly?

Depends on the flow past them. If you run them constantly on a small tank they'll overflow and you'll waste a lot of CO2. The bell diffusers basically work by having a surface area of CO2 in contact with the water. If the water is moving then you can get away with a low flow, but you'll struggle with it overfilling.

You could always get a small diffuser for them instead of the bell, but I've found the regulator on them difficult to get fine adjustments on as well, as they're designed for the on off of the bell.

in that case then i'll probably get a ceramic diffuser for it and use the canister pressure to run it...

You will find that the canisters will not last very long if you run it constantly during the day. You should upgrade to the next level up in the fluval co2 systems. I have the kit that you have to fill the mini tank thing up twice a day and it keeps my tank beautiful. :good: good luck

fair nuff then...... both of my tanks are running the fillup type - one's an aerosol and this one's pressurised....

thanks for the advice guys!
