I've had my fluval edge 6gallon tank now 6weeks and fully cycled I think,I added 5neon tetras 2 weeks ago and since then they have all died,at the moment I have no fish in my tank as I don't want any more deaths!my ammonia reading is 0 nitrate 10 ph 7.2 and nitrite 0.cud this be caused by a lack of oxygen for the fish?any help would be much appreciated thanks

How, exactly, did you cycle your tank, OP? Have you ever had any readings for ammonia and/or nitrite while the fish were in the tank?

Unfortunately neons don't do well in newly set up tanks, even if they have been properly cycled, so it might not be your fault.

yea and if i might add neons need space 6 gallons a little small for them.

I bought them on the advice from the pet shop,I used the nutrafine cycle supplied with the tank!ive had no readings for either while fish have been in tank, what kind of fish would you advise for a new set up?

Most of those cycle products do not work unfortunately. :/

I recommend that you have a good read of the cycling link in my signature and do a fishless cycle.

Remember, most fish stores don't have very knowledgeable (apart from the places that train their staff or the staff have an interest in fish), most fish stores care about profit and not always about the welfare of the fish :/ .
I recommend that if you need advice, you come on here first because most of us are knowledgeable and care about the fish. At least you know we're not doing it for profit ;)

Also, Neon Tetras need a tank of at least 15 gallons as they are very active fish. :/
