jonnyf84 Fish Herder Joined Mar 18, 2008 Messages 1,119 Reaction score 1 Points 38 Sep 22, 2008 #6 it will be clogged and need cleaning when the water flow is reduced or pratically stopped even when on full power. you will know you have a mechanical problem, propeller for example, when the filter makes a unusuall noise - like its fighting to stay alive, lol.
