I just got back from a trip to the lfs and they had some small flounders there. ive always thought of flounders as an eating fish not a pet fish and apparantly so does google because when i tried to find some info on them all i got back was recipies and ways to catch them. This variety is only supposed to get about 2 inches or so and was brown on top and light on the bottom. they all seemed to be stuck right up on the glass. does anyone know anything about the care of these fish? they are interesting but i know better then to just buy a fish because it looks neat.

They are a brackish fish that require a SG of around 1.015 to be happy, when kept in freshwater for extended periods they fade away and die.
They need a sand substrate and should be fed small live/frozen foods like bloodworms
