I've read in a few places that having live plants in your tank during a fishless cycle isn't good, I have 4 small Amazon frogbits in my tank and have just started my fishless cycle. Should I take them out or keep them in.

They should be fine.

Are you adding liquid ammonia? Having plants might just mean you need to add a couple of extra drops is all, as the plants will 'eat' some of it. Doubt it'll be noticeable.
