Floating Plants

Perfect. A video of a band from my home town is blocked in my country
Pretty sure because it's the "official" video. Maybe?
Or, maybe it's blocked in my country?
Hmnnn??
I just try to find stuff without advertisements ☆

Does anyone have recommendations for floating plants? They seem like an easier alternative to plants planted on the ground.
I have been thinking the same thing. I had live plants many decades ago in a larger tank. But, I see unexplained ammonia spikes in my tanks and wonder if that nitrogen fixing thing (nitrogen cycle) which happens with plants might help. So far, I've just done a ton of incremental water changes. I might be OK. But, in the larger of the tanks, something that would be easy to prune - a top floating plant - might make my work a little easier.

Not sure the specifics of where the plants come in...as far as ammonia or nitrites or nitrates ... but floaters are fast growing and yea, they will help with cycling . And live plants in general, in my opinion, are like natures little engines.
Whenever I see roots grow on my floaters i get so satisfied. Like I am getting away with something.....?

Not here to suggest lagging on water changes AT ALL, but live plants were a huge surprise after having plastic ones in my first couple betta tanks. I could tell when cleaning the tank water and filters that the water just had such a better quality...
Filters stay cleaner and don't stink.
