Fishy love

The midas is HUGE! It looks like he is as big as your daughters head! Ive never seen such a midas before

Thanks guys! And wrs, he is huge! But he's great, we adore him (as you can tell by my kiddo's face   )

Lookie what I just found... :hey:

Thanks guys, she's doing really good  It's ok if they decide to eat them though, they're their kids

I noticed the male was ready from the time I moved them, the female was kinda if'fy and uncertain ( I laughed at how she was kinda like "I'm just not sure if I'm ready for all of this")
But then I stuffed them so full of bloodworms they didn't know what's what the other night :hey:

The betta room is always changing, I just finished rearranging shelves to set up four new spawn tanks this week. Gimme a week or so to get everything in it's place and I'll do that. I got my beeeee-yo-tiful awards from the IBC and I need to hang them etc. Thanks for even asking :hyper:

that long&low tank you've now got your kribs in--what are the dimensions on that? did you make it or special order it from somewhere?

The midas looks like he has the "c'mon just stick one finger in here plz" look on his face lol, i cant wait for my Devil to get fully grown, he/she is a baby still but it's starting to chase the cat whenever it gets close to the tank

congrats on the kribs mating, was any Barry White songs used to entice the spawning?

He's surprisingly laid back with her. She's fearless and she "pets his hump" a lot.
 Attacking the cat. Mine does that to the rabbit a lot. And the dog....and people..
I'm not sure what triggered the spawn so quickly. I guess just the move. From what I've read it should take them a couple weeks to nest before mating but I guess they were happy with things as they were.

pica ~ It's a 48Lx 11h X12w . I bought a few of them -used- from my lfs, they're Oceanic custom jobs. They were used for raising corals, but from what I hear they are not too hard to come by.

is that it? huh. looks much, much bigger in the picture. that'd still be just the thing for an african butterfly tank... :plots: thanks for the info wuv!

Ohhh how exciting that your kribs spawned  I'm really wanting to get myself a pair now after seeing yours :D I LOVE the tank you've got them in. To me that is the perfect tank. I love low long tanks. I wish I could get my hands on one over here -_-
