Fishless Cycle

Do you have any idea of the water hardness or the total dissolved solids of your water? Mollies in general like their water high in mineral content with a pH over 7.5 at all times. If you can get those numbers easily, they may make a nice addition to any tank. I really enjoy my mollies but my water makes mollies easy. Other people, with softer or low pH water, do great with things like neons or angels but not so well with mollies. It is always best to match the fish to the water that you have from the tap. That way you are not constantly fiddling with water, you are just enjoying your fish.

i know i live in a hard water area if that helps, but i have no idea of any specific number or anything, i have been meaning to get a gh and kh kit, but was gonna leave it towards the end. My friends mollys are only babies too.

It looks like you are starting to process the nitrites nicely. As you continue to make progress on nitrites you might almost be at the point of thinking about stocking soon.
If you have hard water, it does not have a very high GH. You probably will not have as much luck with mollies as I do so you probably should pass on the "boring" mollies. I love my mollies but never need to do a water change for pH during a cycle because my water is too hard to be effected by the build up of nitrates. My tap runs about 7.8 pH so it is even harder GH and KH than yours is.
