I read I need to have oxygen for the bacteria and heat, I have my heater at 28.5F

I have used PH Down in my cycles as well, heard it add phosphates or something which help??

Weekly water changes of around 25% helped, guess it adds minerals back into the water.

its been 20 days so far, and my Nitrite has just exploded. Not complete yet though but pretty fast-ish.

You have plenty of water circulation to get maximum gas exchange at the water's surface.
