One of my red rainbows is wrangling everyone to one corner of the tank! They're all lined up along one side and any time one comes out it chases them back to the side. He's bright red/orange atm too.
He looks aggitated and is darting around. Wth? I feel bad for the other fish, but what's this guy doing?

What are the other fish? Any water problems that could be causing him to be so agitated? Any female rainbows with him?

The water seems fine. I did just notice it's a bit warmer than usual. I'm not sure how to tell the sex of the rainbows, so it's possible, as I have two other pairs of them as well (different ones)
The other red rainbow is the nearly brown colour. Now it's chasing that one around.
Would they be trying to mate or is this just plain agression? Even my 4 inch Balas are staying out of the way!

They're not normally aggressive, I mean you always get a more dominant one, usually the largest and most colourful male, but only to their own kind, I dont know why it would be bothering the balas or any other fish.

If he carrys on, maybe remove him for some 'time out' Might calm him down and would give the other fish a break.

lol
Ok. well the balas are starting to swim a bit more now. Hopefully it wont last two long. Will test the water though just to be sure.
