Fish Toilet Habbits.

HI there I am a bit of a newbie with my first tank.

I have 4 silver tip tetra's, 5 Neon Tetra's and 3 currently unknown.

The new unkown fish are trailing long lines of what I think is poo and the
other fish are chasing them around and eating it.

Is this poo? or fish egg's?

The seem to be dropping a fair amount and when I have never seen the other fish do this before.

It's poo

Overfeeding can lead to over pooing. Perhaps try cutting it down a bit as this is sin number one in new fishkeeping :huh:

lol Ok ill ease up on the food a bit.

I have a fair few fish now. I dont know when I have fed them enough!

Theyre always hungry.

Fish will ALWAYS appear hungry. :sick:

Give them just enough so that it is all gone in about 20 seconds, twice a day at most. (very rough guide) and remember your feeding is a supliment, there is natural food in a tank as it matures as well
