Fish To Expensive?

I'm still hurting from the days before TTF, when all the fish I bought died very quickly, so I don't see myself shelling out the double digits for one fish until I have the confidence it will actually live.

Sorry, they told me it was a asian, so I belived them( what was I thinking). They sell the asain for 15 dollars at my favorite lfs.

unfortunately it's not always up to your lfs to make the exact price, they have to make a profit to, and if their suppliers are having difficulty's getting certain fish, they will charge more, and in turn, the lfs will have to mark up more. that's why you'll sometimes see things that are ridiculously expensive.

i understand that but the thing is pier is quite a specialist shop i bet 80% of there customers go in there and know exactly what 99% of the fish are so most are gonna go in know what the fish is and go hell no not for £65!
