Yes, there were multiple answers for my question-but the one I was looking for was the only one I was sure about.

ok I'll give it to you---I was looking for Ocean Quahog also known as  Black Clam, mahogany clam, mahogany quahog, or black quahog  but you're close enough.   The Ming Clam is an actual Ocean Quahog that lived to the ripe old age of 507 years old and was caught in 2006..  Here's a link to info on the Ming Clam:  http/en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ming_(clam)
