Fish Pic ?

hi all
just got home , was going to take a couple of pics in the hope you could identify a couple of fish for me , and found 1 of my plecs dead behind my filter , it was stuck to glass. seemed ok yesterday is it just unlucky ? Also trying to insert pics but not sure how to do it , any help would be greatfull

It could just be unlucky, do you know your water stats? what temp is the water?
was the plecs one of the new fish?

thanks for help, think it was unlucky had fish a while , 2 others in tank ok but re homing them at weekend getting too big

Not sure if people will agree with me, but the first looks like a sailfin molly and the second looks a lot like my red parrot platys, but can't fully make out the colourations on yours

Thanks for that. Got 3 of those sailfins very active.
The colouration is black , sorry bout the poor picture quality . Got 1 red one as well.
Tank was given to me with all fish in. So work in progress at mo.

Stunning mate! Really. How many of these have you got? Ohh there growing on me now

I have five of them at the moment, 3 female and 2 male. The males have a slight blue ish shimmer on their sides, whenever I sit on my chair that the 200L is next to they come up to the glass, some people say platty's are not the most intelligent of fish, but mine seem to come to the glass and when I open the lid to feed they are the first up to the place where I drop the food. As they are live bearers, I am expecting babies, as the mollies I have are at it like rabbits, so I think these will be the same.

What do you do too keep the fry? or do you just leave them too it... Would be awesome if you could get these guys breading. Id certainly place an order

I'm not actively looking at breeding, so my tank is a survival of the fittest really, I don't really have any aggressive fish though, so far everyone seems to get on.
