there is a tilapia buttefoerki or however its spelled in the 3rd pic with the jewels...

are you going to keep all these fish? the tilapia alone will need an enormous tank

You say the bichirs 'werent called senegals '- what were they called?

i cant remember :X :X

ive been looking for a website with all the bichir species listed but havent found one yet.

looking at pics they do look a but thinner than the senegals ive found pics of.

could be cos they were younger tho i guess.

and that is a STF

dont mean to be doubtful but are you sure?

i remember tikarman said there was a few different types and only some were true STF.

They're not skinny enough to be rope fish, but without a closer look and better colour pictures, the exactspecies is hard to tell. There are several with the typical 'senegal' colouring including the assorted p. palmas species, the senegals and a couple of others I forget.

really? it just looks like the ones ive seen really.. its hard to tell since the pic isnt very good

yea i realise that.

well to be honest and after thinking about it. im not too fussed if hes a true STF really.

i still like him! lol

as for the bichir, think ill jus keep looking but as far as i can tell they all have a similar temprement so it shouldnt matter 2 much.
