Fish i.d please

Hi does anyone know what this fish is? He was rescued from a tank of large oscars i have no idea what he is. He is eating a piece of ham

Can you get a picture of whole body? It looks like an Electric Blue Jack Dempsey from what I'm seeing.

Coloring is darker from what I normally see, but the body shape appears to be right.

And um.... why ham? I'm not too sure that would be good for him. They certainly wouln't be eating any ham in the wild.
