Fish gone white and eyes gone wierd

My goldifsh went white about 4 years ago, and about 1 year ago somthing started happing 2 its eyes i took no notice of it but now im a bit worried that it might be going blind, well its one of the eyes, there a kind of seal over the eye u can only see the pupil of the eye from the side, and from the front the eye comes at u like there glass on it its wierd any ideas?? And its not popeye

It could be some sort of bacterial infection or parasitic infection (for the eyes). Goldfish usually lose their color and turn gold, at least all of my goldfish which were comets and a black moor. This is especially true when they are sick. That might be the case in this case.
