Hi, i first want to say a big thankyou to everyone who took the time to vote and reply in my last "help me choose my fish" POLL...
Lots of people loved the Yellow lab and P. Demasoni combo, but i declined that due to the smaller tank i have ( 180ltr, 38") and the agression of the demas...

As a beginner, i thought it wise to take your advice and opt for the Yellow labs and C. Afra combo.....!!! I really like the fact that they are both "kinda" peaceful, and the look of both fish is great and go well together...

I really like the C. Afra Blue reefs (AKA White top Hara or White top galieo?)

Is this a good choice with the Afra breed

I would really apreciate if you could think over the tank i am making... and let me know your opinions on how many labs and Afras i should get... and the ratios of M/F i should aim for ???

just to recap.... Jewel 180 ltr 38" 47 gl
ocean rock and coral sand....
1600 litres per hour filtering...

and water here in Denmark is
ph 8.0
kh 15dh
gh 10dh

Thanks again., Darren.

Everything seems fine to me. Your water has great stats, you lucky so'n'so!! (Wish my water came out of the tap hard with a high pH :S ) .... because of that, your choice of ocean rock and coral sand is ok but isn't essential, you could have watever takes your fancy really. Your filteration sounds good too... :good:

I think your best suited to 6 of each... 1m/5f... Or you could add another species (red zebra's for example), and have 4 of each... 1m/3f. All together, approx 12 fish. Thats the guideline anyway....

This is my C.Afra... im sure he's a 'White Top', not 100% though.
