Hi, I am new to this forum, and I have a problem with my fish in the new tank. Today, I've transferred my fish into an upgraded 29 gallon tank, and immediately, I've noticed my black fin tetra chasing my angelfish around the tank whenever he sees the poor fish. They've been perfectly fine in the old tank without any problem, so is this just a territorial new tank thing that'll end soon, or is it something I should be concerned about? Really appreciate your response.

Unfortunately, that is normal behavior for a Black Skirt Tetra, especially if it is kept singly. They do better in groups of 10 or so, but even then they might pick on your Angel. Angels are just too slow and their fins too flowing for the Black Skirts to resist.

You have three options.
Up the number of tetras so they can take it out on each other - tetras are schooling fish and really should be with others of their kind, at least six but more if possible
Move the tetra on somewhere else
Hope it dies down after a while once territories are sorted. I would still advise upping your tetras though.

Who else is the tank? Did you move the filter over too so that the beneficial bacteria can start working immediately?
