Fish Are Losing Colour With Cloudy Eyes

Well don't let them say that, and invest in some liquid test kits of your own, as bad water quality can make them flick, have you just preformed a water change, right parasites, any grains of salt on the fish, red inflamed gills, or laboured breathing, plus a yellow to gold dusting on them, you say that one of the fish has whitness of it's body, well can you describe it is it fluffy, any grey mucas on the gills, whitness on the body can mean parasite or bacterial, but your tank sounds like it has alot of problems, there is alot of sick fish in there, how often do you maintain the tank.

the white is not like salt grain bit to bit for salt grain and i maintain my tank weekly by doing a 25 % water change and have never had any bother like this before my tank is about 9 months old

Water test results would of been nice to see, if the other fish do have tb there is no cure, are they heavy breathing the fish as that can be a sign of a parasite, plus what do the gills look like, and how often are they flicking.

there gills look alright and breathing is fine they flick every now and again not every minute like

I would just keep a close eye on them for now, and get water tested, and i would preform a water change.

Can you tell me with the livebearers how many of each sex.

Just reading up you might have velvet.

What do you think black angel.

Added any new fish recently? It may be that the ph is too low for the livebearers as thats what you are losing. Thickening of the slime coat suggests a parasite attack but again could be due to ph. Please take a sample again of your tank water and tap water and get both tested and ask for them to be written down.
Livebearers also like some salt in the water for the added mineral count.
Without knowing the full stats then we can only guess at the cause.

If you could load some pics up of the sick fish it might help.

To be honest, unless you get the water quality theres no point in medicating until we know the water quality is spot on.

I now wonder if its internal bacteria.

Are the fish still eating or are they losing interest?

If the poo is clear in colour it will explain the thiness of the fish, it not easy, we can only go on what you say, but clear poo is a sign of internal parasites, they is not always a cure for them, you might have to be prepared to put the infected fish down and strip the tank down, then add the remaining surivers and start again.
