Fish Are Dying Dropping Like Flies

so about 4 of my ruby barbs have perrished and one angel fish
but there is no violent death they werent attacked as i saw one die
they just seem to loose there equalibrium and float up to the top and also one snail just died as well
my stats are the same as they hav been the last 5 months my bottom feeder has been fine and same with my crayfish as he just molted as we speak
i was told it could be my rocks as the color dies leach chemsinto the water that we dont test for but i dont know help so this doesnt happen again

I'd say a (plus/minus) 70/80% water change is not out of order......

well i was already planning on changing my gravel to a natural riverrock gravel so i'' only keep 20% of the water in the tank now
