Fish Advertised As F1

I've been wondering this for quite a while now. When a fish is advertised as being F1, F2 etc, what does it mean?

I've been wondering this for quite a while now. When a fish is advertised as being F1, F2 etc, what does it mean?

First generation , Second generation, it means that they have wild caught fish and these are the frist genertion of tank born ones
Usually better colouring, quality etc than tank bred, farms etc

F0 are Wild Caught, then F1 have wild parents. F2 have wild grandparents etc.
