Heyy just put the soil in my first tank!
It's 75x35x40, 105L, 27G, I put like 3 cm of aquasoil on the front and 6-7 cm on the back bc I plan on putting plants on the back mostly and sand on front for corys, should I do a sand layer everywhere of about 1 cm or just put a spot in the front of the tank???
I rinsed the sand out today and plan on putting it in wet tomorrow when I buy some plants that I want to glue to some wood and rocks (Java Fern, Anubias nana, Anubias barteri and Java Moss). I'll add the rest of the plants (Water Wisteria, Cryptocoryne wendtii, Dwarf Sagittaria, Amazon Frogbit, Red Root Floater) like a week or two after starting the cycling, then I plant to add some Amano and Cherry Shrimp (like 6 of each) and 4 Clithon Corona. Then when it's completely cycled I plan on adding 8 Chili Rasbora (or any similar ones), 8 Corys (panda corys or bandits) and 1 Male Honey Gourami (or another small schooling fish like 8 neon tetra).
I've researched a ton about cycling and I'm in a group that answers pretty quickly but I want to know how to the the hardscape first
