Fire eyed crabs

Ok, I work at Petco in aquatics sometimes and we received like 7 fire eye crabs the other day. They looked real healthy and cool. I sold them all in one day. Well, as far as I know they all died. Does anyone know anything about them and maybe why they might have died? Do you think it was being transported from place to place, tank to tank or something. Do they need a different water quality?

A scientific name would help as a search brought up nothing but my bet is they're brackish water and didn't survive in the freshwater envrionments.

No offence ment to you Tomcattwist, but dosen't Petco educate their staff. Or at least have a member of staff specialise in at least one or more areas of pet care.

Its not your fault but if they all died then shouldn't your boss have found out why (he/she is responsible).

Fire eyed crabs sound interesting, can you give us some information on them?
