6 baby harlequins so cute.
And 6 baby black neons so cute, mothering them, love them when there tiny.

Black neons tough as anything once you had them a while, never see black neons over in the emergency section.

Talking to yourself again, Wilder? Kiddiiing!
Lol looks like it.
Sorry was so excited havent had any new fish in a long time, plus there babies even happier.

Congratulations Wilder on your new additions, you must be so pleased!!
I've never kept Black Neons but they are a lovely fish. I've got 7 Harlequins which are quite a size now, only realise how big they've grown when I see the baby ones at the lfs!

Getting new fish is always nice. Have a new interest in trying to figure out their behaviour and feeding habitats.

So nice! I like harlequins. I have a mix of 3 different species of harlequins. I would like to add a 4th. How do you hold out so long?

One Year Three Months
How did you manage to hold out that long? Longest I've gone was ~10 months  .

I've never had harlequins, but I have black neons and their great fish :good: . I've had mine for over two years now and I've only lost one (It was a female full of eggs, my red eye tetras kept harassing her for some reason :-( ).
They are very easy to breed too, and when I have the space/time to breed a fish, It will probably be my black neons :good: .
They make regular neons seem difficult to keep and sensitive!

Once they are acclimated, yes. I've found they are quite sensitive intially however. I had a nice group of 5 for the longest time and am down to 2. Most of them died of old age or whatever happens to fish when they reach that mark. I had them for a couple of years and they got quite big. Subsequent attempts to restock ended in disaster with the new ones. Likely stressful conditions at the PetCo I got them from though.

Thanks everyone.
My tanks are well less it more, but some have died of getting old so thought I would get some more fish.
Bit weary of new fish as they are jumpy when you first get them, and hate going into the tank for maintance when there like that, so it puts me off.
