Final Stock Check

After much thought and as much reading up as I've been able to do I've settled on the following stocklist. While Aquadvisor and what I've been able to read hasn't flagged up any issues A friend has queried whether the Rams or the Apisto could try to eat the Galaxy Rasborra ?

The cichlids will normally stay low, while the Celestial Pearl Danios (Galaxy's other common name) will normally stay mid to high, so should not be an issue.

I'm presuming the four agassizziis are three females and one male? I've regularly read about trios with one male, but not quartets.

I'm a little concerned about the Kuhlis, if and when the Rams are raising fry, plus the three or even four female agassizziis have fry. I'm wondering where the Kuhlis are going to feel safe on the tank floor, when not burrowing under furniture and plants?

Valid points there I take it 2 male Rams would cause aggresion issues which may be more problematic than the fry issue ? The Agassizzis could be reduced to a trio no probs.

Right time to take this list to bits and put it back together lol Off to another LFS tonight so hopefully my first fish will be in the tank very soon

I saw some beautiful Dwarf gourami last night I dont know if i should add them to the list above and maybe reduce galaxy to say 20-25 or start a whole new list. Suggestions welcome even if there entirely different to the above list.

Sounds like you still need to identify your "must have fish!" Once you have decided that, then you find suitable tankmates with similar aggression; water movement preference; temperature etc.

The best LFS in Scotland ( Well according to Practical Fishkeeping Magazine ) Is approx 50 minutes from my house could I bring fish that far and if so would i need to provide extra heating etc ?

Hi I often travel an hour or further for my fish and its not a problem at all, you just need to keep the car warm and stuff or you can get a poly box but I wouldnt worry

Your stocking list looks very nice Only I would consider is adding more Bolivian Rams being a Geophene they are better in groups though for rams the groups are less nessacary than for their larger relatives like cupids and guianacara or the larger geophagus. It does sound like a very nice tank though
