Filtration

So I currently have a internal 400lph filter running my 125l tank but today I found an old but fully working mint fluval 304 external filter sitting in my garage. My question is would this be a good upgrade to make or should I buy something a little smaller? this fluval supposedly does 260gph so I'm wondering if it's a little much.

Any advice is greatly recieved

I used to run a U3 and a 305 on my 125L. Running the 304 will be fine.
