Filtration For 6X2X2

so im saving up for the nda 72x24x24 was thinking of going with 2 fluval fx5 for filtration, anybody got any ideas of other filters that are just as good and cheaper?? thanks

I'm running a 6 x 2 x 2.5 (850L) on 2x Tetratec 1200's I'm considering upgrading to a single FX5 and a 1200....

ideally I'd like a large ehiem instead of the FX5

I have used Eheims and Fluvals and would definitely do the FX5.

I am running 2 FX5s on my 135g and really can not complain I got one second hand that I have had nearly 2 years and bought a new one last weekend my new one was £185 but you can get them second hand for about £85 on ebay or Aquarist Classified. I really rate them - they just do the job and are pretty much bomb proof
