filter questions

Hi All,

I got a new powered filter (magi-200) today that sits under the water level and is powered off mains power. The unit came with a few little addon pipes so it can be setup in different ways. I have a smallish 6g tank and i'm wondering if any one had some advice on what would be the best setup to use. I'm only planning on having a few small fish in the tank and maybe a snail.

Pic1 - This setup sprays water, kinda of sounds like rain

Pic2 - This setup sucks air in and pumps out into the tank

Sorry about the quality of the pictures, couldn't find any good examples on the net.

both set ups will have certain noise levels
if you use the spray bar and position it just below the water level, you will get no noise from it at all.
