Filter Question

So I have 2 filters running on my 10 gallon tank right now and the tank has just recently finished cycling(about 3 days now) and I am going to move one of the filters to another 10 gallon tank. Will the new tank instantly be cycled since both filters were running on a cycled tank? Also, the current tank has 5 fish in it. Will it be ok to add only one fish in for about a week or so or do I need to add about 5 to match the stocking of the other tank?

Yes, the new tank will be cycled. But you MUST add the same amount of fish or less to the new tank in order to keep the Friendly bacteria in your filter alive But you musnt add any more, or the filter will be overwhelmed and you'll get a spike.

Tim, as recently as 5 days ago you were asking how high to let the poisons in the tank get while doing a fish in cycle. If you have managed to get cycled in 2 days after that, you still have a very fragile filter combination. There is no way I would disturb your setup at all for at least another week with no water changes. If you still seem to be cycled, maybe you could think of moving fish and filters in proportion to each other to a new tank, but not before that.
