Filter Problem

Hi people I have a interpet pf4 filter, I took it completely apart last night, and the top bit where it has little white bits with holes in I think I've put them in wrong, as my tank isn't as clean as it normally is.Does anyone know which way they are meant to be put in?

Also the bottom part, I pulled the big black bit off then the blue part, got alot of muck out and there was a clear peice of plastic, cleaned it put it back but, I don't get how anything would go through it??? Any ideas welcome. thanks

hope you get some help here, as there is no information, even from interpet, on how this filter goes together.
i would suggest the best way is to remove the filter and rebuild it, changing one thing you think is wrong, each time till it works.

there is a moral for all of us here. look what you are doing, WHEN you are doing it. best way to find how things "go together" is to take note, AS they are taken apart.
