Filter For A 90L Tank

hi i have a 90l tank and i was wondering what filter would be good for the tank? i already have a mature filter in there but im not sure of the make and its a bit noisey and not so clever so any advice would be usefull thanks matt

i use a fluval 2+ in mine, pretty cheap, so anything around that size should suit.

Fluval internals are good, I prefer the old 'Plus' (+) models rather than the U series. Good pick one of these up quite cheaply now second hand/ebay etc. Like Tizer I run a 2+ on a 30 litre tank and it is silent and problem free. I would maybe try a 3+ on a 90 litre, depends how messy your fish are. The U3 I had was a nightmare but the spray outlet on them is good for planted aquariums.

Well I had the U3 in an 88 litre tank, so a 3+ would fit - again it depends on your stocking levels, you may prefer to save space by using a 2+ but I wanted the extra media space. If it was me choosing I would go 3+.

There are other internal filters available of course, but Fluval ones do seem consistently good, particularly this older plus range.
