One of my lfs got a tank load of these in with females recently and they were charging 79p for them

I have now explained to them how they can tell the males from females but most of the time they are just sold as females as they don't have the time to sort them out, or the space to house them individually.

Shame on who is breeding them or selling them for not knowing how to tell the difference and not separating them properly You can only imagine the carnage for some poor person buying a group of girls and having one or two of these males thrown into the mix

To be fair though, it can happen with any tail type, not just PK. If you saw my post awhile back about the ladyboy, almost everybody who posted swore he was a girl. He then sprouted huge veil tail fins.
